What is Culture?
Culture is a word for the 'way of life' of groups of people, meaning the way they do things. ... The excellence of taste in the fine arts and humanities, also known as high culture. An integrated pattern of human knowledge, belief, and behavior. The outlook, attitudes, values, morals, goals, and customs shared by a society.
A culture is formed through the combined pattern of thoughts, communications, actions, customs, beliefs, values and institutions associated with racial, ethnic groups. Religious, spiritual, biological, geographical or sociological characteristics are also considered part of one’s culture.
An individual may identify wholly or partially with one or more cultural groups at the same time, and cultural identifications may change over time.
